Tailgate Trick or Treating is this Friday, October 26 at 5:30 p.m. and the Community Pot Luck will happen directly after at 6:15. It’s going to be spook-tacular!
The 5/6 class is having a fund-raiser to defray the cost of their Washington, D.C. trip. Ask a student how you can help. Speaking of fund-raisers, the PTP is having a bottle and can drive this week, Rich Hamilton has loaned us his trailer to collect clean, bagged, returnable bottle and cans. The money raised will go to the PTP.
Conferences are coming! Family conferences are happening the week of November 5th. They can be scheduled Wednesday, 11/7 from 3:30-6:30, and Thursday or Friday, 11/8 or 11/9, from 12:30-3:30. Call Laurie to set up your time. Please note: the next week is an unusual one. We have a full day of school on Monday, 11/5, no school on Tuesday, 11/6 (it is a Professional Development day for teachers), Wednesday, 11/7 is a regular day, (with conferences after school), then 12:30 release days on Thursday and Friday, 11/8 and 11/9. There is no school on Monday, 11/12 due to the Veteran’s Day holiday. Got all that? Call us if you have questions.
Please join the PTP at their next meeting, Wednesday, 11/8 at 8 a.m. at the school. You can learn more about the PTP and how it benefits your student and our school
