Skiing starts Thursday, January 11th

We’re looking forward to a great day of skiing tomorrow We have a number of students who have never skied before, and that’s always exciting. Thanks in advance to the chaperones. One note: please make sure your students have warm gloves or mittens, and good (non-cotton) socks. Everyone has a better day when they are warm enough!
The Tuesday Afternoon Adventure Club!, run by our Americorps members Lena and Jacob, has started, but there is room for a few more students in grades 3-6 if yours is interested.
The Blizzard Bags that went home last Wednesday are due back this Friday, Jan. 12 for grades K-6, and Tuesday, Jan. 16 for Preschool. We had 100% return last time, I bet we can reach that level again.
Next Friday, January 19, is our next Community Pot Luck Dinner, this time followed by Movie Night! It’s always a fun time, enjoying a great movie (Ratatouille!) with a group of friends, kids in pajamas, snacking on popcorn. Dinner is at 5:30, and the movie starts at 6:15. More information, including what to bring, is hereI hope you can join us.
We’re already working on the budget process for next year, and if you have suggestions, please let me know.
This week’s link is to a different kind of article, one that lists 24 things to do with kids during the winter. Enjoy! https://www.thespruce.com/fun-kids-winter-activities-2997492
