Another great day of skiing yesterday. The conditions were great, and the weather was lovely. So many students tried new trails, and are proud of their development as skiers. Thanks again to the chaperones and staff who make the day possible, and to the PTP for the financial support.
I hope you’ll be able to join us for our Community Pot Luck and Movie Night tonight at the school. The potluck starts at 5:30, and the movie at 6:15. Should be a fun night!
Keep an eye out: in the next couple weeks, I’ll be sending you a link to a form for you to send your thoughts and suggestions about a few different topics, including how you feel about sixth-grade students possibly going to Mohawk, our Primary Class make up, and others. I also encourage you to attend School Committee meetings, where the important work of charting the future of the Rowe School is happening. The next meeting is Thursday, February 8th at 4 p.m.
I read an article in the New York Times about how we (at all ages) can be better readers. I thought you might find it useful in dealing with your student as a reader: https://www.nytimes.
