We had our first lockdown practice this year yesterday, working on what to do in an emergency situation at the school. The staff did a great job preparing the students, and students did exactly as they had been instructed, and we learned a few things that will have us better prepared in case of an emergency. Our next lockdown practice will be in January.
The Preschool and Primary Classes visited the Hitchcock Center in Amherst this week (the 3/4 and 5/6 are going next week). They learned all about their new building, which is powered entirely by renewable energy.
The after-school Cross Country and Paddleball Volleyball groups will be wrapping up over the next few weeks. More After School Activities are coming soon. Look for explanations and permission slips coming home shortly.
This Saturday is the Kid Mudder and Trail Run/Walk Fundraiser, starting at 10 am at the Park, followed by a Pot Luck lunch. The PTP is putting this on as a FUNdraiser. Hope you can make it!
