What a great hike! The K-6 students, staff, and chaperones headed up Negus Mountain in Rowe last Friday, and it was the most beautiful day we could have hoped for. The students hiked over seven miles, enjoyed the breathtaking views, laughed, played, and talked together all day. A great Rowe tradition! The next field trip is for K-6 students, it’s a visit to Red Gate Farm,
We appreciate the efforts families are making to get their students to the school by the start of the school day at 8:25, it makes a big difference, for them and for their classmates.
Here are a couple of safety notices: There will be a bus evacuation practice on Thursday, 10/18 for all students, they practice how to exit the bus safely. Then on Tuesday, 10/23, we will be having an evacuation and reunification practice, in conjunction with state and local safety personnel. A detailed explanation will be coming home, but just note that dismissal, and students arriving home on the bus, will be a little later than usual, and we will be dismissing students from the Rowe Town Hall.
